Plant a Seed, Read this summer at the library! This year’s summer reading theme celebrates growth in every form — growing your imagination and watching great stories take root.
The more you read, the more tickets you earn! Each ticket can be entered toward a grand prize drawing of your choice, allowing you to choose the prize you most want to win. You can also earn additional tickets by completing up to five book reviews throughout the summer.
In addition, visiting the library pays off — each visit earns you tickets for our special monthly prize drawings. With reading, reviews, and library visits all adding up, there are plenty of ways to grow your chances to win fun prizes all summer long.
How to Participate
There are two ways to log minutes:
ONLINE: Visit uxbridgelibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app to register with Beanstack to log your minutes. You can sign up your entire family and view progress with one username. Enroll in the 2026 Summer Reading challenge for your age group (adults, teens, or children).
ON PAPER: Use our paper log to track your titles and minutes every time you read. If you need more space, request another log or track on an additional sheet of paper. Bring your log to the library to update your progress.
How to Earn Tickets
Log the minutes you read and earn one virtual ticket for every 60 minutes of reading (up to 30 hours total). Earn additional tickets by submitting up to five book reviews in Beanstack. Virtual tickets can be entered toward the grand prize drawings of your choice:
- Big E Family Pack, Individual Membership to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill (Adults)
- Big E Teen Family Pack, 2 Level 99 Prize Packs (Teens)
- Big E Family Pack, 2 Urban Air Adventure Park Prize Packs, or a $25 Barnes and Noble Gift Card (children)

About Beanstack
Through Beanstack, the library offers reading challenges such as our Summer Reading Program and Minute Madness reading challenge. Readers can participate through the easy-to-use app or website.
Beanstack helps you log the books you read, track your time spent reading each day, set reading goals, participate in library reading challenges, and win cool badges.
Recording your reading can be as easy as using the Beanstack mobile app on your phone to scan the bar code on the back of any book. You can then enter the number of pages, minutes, or hours that you’ve read.
