Statement on the Passing of Library Employee Judith Byrnes

The Uxbridge Free Public Library and the Board of Library Trustees are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our dear colleague and friend Judith Byrnes. Our hearts are with the Byrnes family at this time.

As a member of the children’s room staff at the Uxbridge Free Public Library for 25 years, Judy brought creativity, fun, and a love of reading to generations of children and their families. She was a fixture of the children’s room and made every patron feel welcome.

Judy’s dedication left an indelible mark on our community, and she will be deeply missed by staff, patrons, and the many children whose lives she touched.

We extend our deepest condolences and support to Judy’s family, friends, and all who are mourning this loss.
